Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Freezi ("Freezi," "the App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Freezi application or visit the Freezi website.

Freezi is a work and payment-tracking application intended to help freelancers organize clients, jobs, amounts, due dates, and payment statuses.

By using Freezi, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

To use Freezi, you may create an account using:

• An email address and password; or
• Your Google account.

Depending on the sign-in method you choose, we may receive and process information such as:

• Your name;
• Your email address;
• Your profile image, if provided through Google;
• Authentication identifiers and technical information required to create and manage your account.

Email and password authentication is managed through Freezi's infrastructure and authentication provider. Freezi does not store passwords in plain text.

Freezi does not receive or store your Google password.

2.2 Information You Enter into the App

Freezi stores information that you choose to enter in order to use its features, including:

• Client names and client details;
• Work descriptions and work types;
• Prices and amounts;
• Work dates and payment due dates;
• Payment statuses, advance payments, and payment dates;
• Notes and other information you choose to enter.

This information may include personal information relating to your clients or other third parties. You are responsible for ensuring that you are permitted to enter and process such information in Freezi.

Freezi does not process payments or transfer money. Amounts, advance payments, and payment statuses entered into the App are used solely for organization and record-keeping purposes.

2.3 Technical and Operational Information

Freezi's infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information required to operate, secure, and maintain the App, such as:

• IP address;
• Browser, device, or operating-system information;
• Authentication and session information;
• Server logs and security- and operations-related events.

This information is used for essential operational, security, authentication, and troubleshooting purposes.

Freezi does not currently use third-party services for targeted advertising, behavioral tracking, or marketing analytics of user activity.

Technical infrastructure for push notifications may be included in the Android version of the App, but the push-notification service is not currently enabled for users. If this service is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly before it is activated, where required.

2.4 Google Play

When Freezi is installed or updated through Google Play, Google may process information related to the download, installation, update, device, and use of Google Play services, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and terms.

This processing is carried out by Google as part of operating Google Play and is not directly managed by Freezi.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only as necessary to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage your account;
• Provide the App's client, work, and payment-tracking features;
• Store and display the information you enter;
• Maintain the security and proper operation of the App;
• Provide support and respond to inquiries;
• Prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access;
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on one or more of the following:

• Performance of our agreement with you and provision of the App;
• Your consent;
• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Freezi;
• Compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be processed or shared only in the following circumstances.

5.1 Service Providers

Freezi is built and operated using Base44, which provides essential services including:

• Hosting and cloud infrastructure;
• Database and data storage;
• User authentication;
• Application operation and security.

Base44 processes information on our behalf as required to provide these services and is subject to its own privacy and security terms.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google processes the sign-in request according to Google's own Privacy Policy. Freezi receives only the account information required for authentication.

Google may also process information in connection with the download, installation, and update of the Android version through Google Play.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful governmental request;
• Protect the rights, safety, or security of Freezi, its users, or others;
• Investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents.

5.3 Business Changes

If Freezi is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

6. Data Storage and International Processing

Freezi's data is stored and processed through Base44 and its infrastructure providers.

Depending on the location of the infrastructure and the user, information may be processed in countries other than the country in which the user resides. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.

7. Data Security

We and our infrastructure providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures include encrypted transmission and platform-level access and security controls.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information and the information you enter in Freezi for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide the App.

When your account is deleted, the account and its associated user data will be deleted, except where limited retention is required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or temporarily occurs within routine backup and recovery systems.

Any temporarily retained backup copies will not be used for ordinary business purposes and will be removed in accordance with the infrastructure provider's standard retention procedures.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Freezi account and its associated data:

• From the account-deletion option in the App's Settings; or
• Through the account-deletion page on the Freezi website.

If you encounter difficulty submitting a deletion request, you may contact us at freeziapp@gmail.com.

Deleting the App from your device does not, by itself, delete your account or stored data.

Account deletion is permanent. Freezi does not currently offer a data-export feature, so you should retain any information you may need before deleting your account.

10. Cookies and Local Storage

The Freezi website and App may use strictly necessary cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies for:

• User authentication;
• Maintaining your signed-in state;
• Remembering language or interface preferences;
• Security and essential operation.

We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information associated with your account;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your account and associated data;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.

12. Children's Privacy

Freezi is intended for freelancers and other independent professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through Freezi, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. External Links and Services

Freezi may include links or connections to external websites and services, such as Google or services opened from your device.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party services. You should review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Freezi's features, service providers, or legal obligations change.

The updated policy will be published with a new version number and last-updated date. If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide additional notice where required.

In particular, this policy will be updated before enabling payment processing, subscriptions, analytics services, advertising, push notifications, or other services that materially change Freezi's data practices.
